Professional bassist, winner of three Minnesota Music Awards, recently inducted into the Mid-America Music Hall of Fame in 2010.

David has over 34 years of experience, having begun his career in 1977 in Mexico City at age 16. A year later, in 1978, he toured the country with the New York group Disco-Tex and the Sex-o-Lettes with its various #1 worldwide hits in the '70s. In 1979, David joined the ultra-famous group La Tierra, which was signed with the RCA record label.

In 1981, he moved to Minneapolis, MN, USA, and soon branched out from musician to become a composer, producer and recording engineer, later winning three Minnesota Music Awards.

He has toured the world playing bass with music legends:

  • 2002 with The Winans Family.
  • 1991-1992 Whitney Houston with AFTER 7.
  • 1990 MC Hammer with TROOP.
  • 1983 Kool & The Gang with WESTSIDE.
  • 1979 La Tierra/RCA records.
  • 1977 Disco-Tex and the Sex-o-Lettes with multiple #1 worldwide hits in the '70s

He uses Jimmy Wess Professional Nickel Wound strings.
